Mikotiol sintaza (EC 2.3.1.189, MshD) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom acetil-KoA:desacetilmikotiol O-acetiltransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- desacetilmikotiol + acetil-KoA KoA + mikotiol
Ovaj enzim katalizuje zadnji korak u biosinteza mikotiola, glavnog tiola većine aktinomiceta, uključujući Mycobacterium.
